- First of all you have to visit their official website pmsuryaghar.gov.in.
- Here you have to click on Apply For Rooftop Solar.
- Here you will have to first register yourself, for this, you will have to fill in your State, District, Electricity Distribution Company and your Consumer Account Number and then go Next.
- And after this you have to fill your mobile number on which you will get OTP and after filling the OTP you have to click on Submit.
- So now your registration is done, now you have to click on Apply for Solar Rooftop and then fill all your details there.
- After this, you have to wait for the feasibility approval from the discount company and as soon as you get the feasibility approval, you can get the solar system installed at your home from any registered vendor.
After the solar system is installed at your home, you have to apply for net metering. After the net meter is installed, the discount company will check your entire system and after checking, a commissioning certificate will be given to you.
After getting the commissioning certificate, you have to submit this certificate, your bank details and a cancelled cheque on pmsuryaghar.gov.in portal. Within 30 days, you will get your subsidy amount in your bank account.
