The bill of an air conditioner depends on its technology, as well as on which room you use the air conditioner in and for how long. But in this article, we are going to talk about the LG 2025 Model AI Convertible 6-in-1 Inverter Air Conditioner, which we have installed in our GYM. The screenshot below shows that this air conditioner was consuming about 1757W of electricity when running at 100% capacity.
When we start this air conditioner, it runs with full capacity, so it consumes around 1.8Kw of electricity. But this is an inverter air conditioner, so when we run it for a long time, its power consumption decreases, which you can also see in the screenshot below.
So in the above screenshot you can see that after running continuously for 1 hour, our inverter air conditioner started running on 1557W of power and in 1 hour it consumed 1.65 units of electricity.
If our air conditioner had run on full load for 1 hour, it would have consumed about 1.75 units of electricity. But less electricity has been consumed because the inverter air conditioner gradually starts running on less power after the room cools down. That is why it consumed 1.65 units of electricity in 1 hour. If we had run it continuously for 1 more hour, it would have consumed about 1.4 units of electricity in the next hour and in the next hour it would have consumed only 1 unit or even less. That is why you will get the benefit of installing an inverter air conditioner only if you run it for about 5 to 6 hours.

If your air conditioner is not of inverter technology, it will consume about 2.5 units of electricity.

We don’t run the air conditioner for just one or two hours, our air conditioner can run for about 10 to 15 hours, and if we use it at home, it can run for about 20 hours.
