Microtek launched Lithium Battery for Inverter

Microtek launched Lithium Battery for Inverter : As the use of lithium battery is increasing, every brand is bringing its lithium battery in the market. Recently Microtek company has launched its lithium battery, which will be suitable for 12V inverters. But their lithium battery is compatible only with some of their inverters. You cannot use it on any other brand or any other inverter.

Therefore, if you want to use Microtek’s lithium battery, then you will have to buy an inverter that supports only Microtek’s lithium battery. The nominal voltage of Microtek lithium battery is 12.8 volts and its nominal capacity is 100 Ah.

With this battery, you will get the same backup as a 150Ah battery, but the price of this battery will be around 19 thousand rupees. But you get many benefits by installing a lithium battery, that is why even if it is a little more expensive than a lead acid battery, you should still buy it.

This battery is a Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) type battery, which is considered to be the safest battery. Prismatic LiFePO4 cells have been used in this battery, which have a very long life, so that your battery will easily last for about 8 to 10 years.

If you use this battery at 80% DOD, then you get more than 4000 life cycles. If you use even one life cycle per day, then this battery will last for 4000 days or about 10 years. That is why the company also claims that the life of this battery is more than 10 years.

This lithium battery weighs about 12 kg, but if we compare it with a lead acid battery, then a 150Ah lead acid battery weighs about 50 kg. From this you can guess that this is almost four times lighter battery, which you can easily pick up and place anywhere.

Current Support

The Max Charge Current of this battery is 50 A, which means you can fully charge it in about 2 to 3 hours, but the company recommends charging it at 20A, so that this battery will be fully charged in about 6 hours.

But the Max Continuous Discharge Current of this battery is 150 A, which means that you can run a load of up to 2Kw at a time from this battery, so that there will be no negative effect on the life and backup of this battery. But running a load of 2Kw will give you only 30 minutes of battery backup. If you run a load of 2Kw on a 150Ah battery, it will give you a backup of 10 minutes because running a high load on a Lead Acid Battery reduces both its battery backup and life.

That is why lithium batteries are the best batteries for running heavy loads. If you want to run a large load for a short time, then you can use lithium batteries. If you want to run a small load for a long time, then you can use lead acid batteries.
